Trinity Capital Advisors to Break Ground on 215 International Drive

April 15, 2014

Trinity Capital Advisors is pleased to announce the development of 215 International Drive, a 277,253 SF industrial building in Concord, NC. Merriman Schmitt Architects designed the building, and Trinity Capital has hired Myers & Chapman as general contractors. 215 International Drive breaks ground this month and will be completed in December 2014. The modern tilt-wall, rear-load building at the corner of Poplar Tent Road and International Drive is minutes from I 85 exits 54 and 55 and Highway 73, allowing for unmatched exposure and accessibility.

Trinity PartnersTerry Brennan is marketing 215 International Drive on behalf of Trinity Capital. “In keeping with all of the other Class A buildings along International Drive, our cornerstone site and rear-loaded facility will have ample glass lines for office spaces and abundant auto and truck parking areas. High quality corporate users already within the park, the much improved highway infrastructure along with continued demand from users for modern facilities validates our decision to build now. We look forward to working with the real estate brokerage community and the entire Concord/Cabarrus Economic Development team in bringing the right occupant(s) to the building.”

Sherrie Chaffin, Trinity Capital’s Director of Development, says 215 International Drive’s location creates an inherent advantage for its tenant. “The corner location offers unmatched exposure, and the land position allows us to build an extremely efficient building with multiple access options,” Chaffin said.

Trinity Capital Partner David Allen noted that 215 International Drive is the end result of Trinity Capital’s intention to deliver value to our customers and investors through investing in high quality modern facilities in desirable locations. “Our emphasis on development began over 18 months ago as asset prices for acquisitions continued to rise. We expect development opportunities to be a larger share of our investing activities for the foreseeable future.”

“The Cabarrus Regional Chamber and Economic Development Corporation is excited that Trinity Capital Advisors is building in our county; it shows they believe in the growth potential of our community,” said Margie Bukowski, Senior Vice President of the Cabarrus Regional Chamber and Economic Development. “Their investment offers us a unique distribution/manufacturing space that we did not have before to show to potential companies looking at our county. The location of the building is perfect for the demand we are seeing for industrial buildings close to Interstate 85. We are looking forward to working with Trinity Capital Advisors as they begin their construction of this building this month.”
